IT & Telecommunications Equipment

IT and telecommunications equipment is becoming an increasingly growing waste stream of the modern world. High penetration of information technologies and the increasing needs for computational power, are leading to continually shorter life cycles for such equipment.

The recycling of this waste is done manually. All hazardous components such as ink cartridges, batteries, external and internal cables, electronic circuit capacitors, are removed. What are left, constitute secondary raw materials such as plastics, ferrous metals, aluminium, other, precious, metals, etc finding their way to industry.
